The flow stays strong: illegal immigrants tried to get to Europe through Transcarpathia by bus

A Ukrainian was carrying in a minibus a group of illegal migrants across Transcarpathia towards the border.

Yesterday, on two areas of the state border, the Border Guard Service officers detained 9 people without documents.

 In Transcarpathia, border guards of the department "Kosyno" of the Mukachevo detachment, while patrolling the border area, 1.5 km from the border, stopped a minibus with Ukrainian registration. During the inspection it turned out that the driver, a citizen of Ukraine, was carrying 5 people without documents. According to preliminary information, three of them were citizens of Syria, 2 were citizens of Palestine. Also, the border guards of this department, while monitoring the border last night, detained two citizens of Bangladesh.

Furthermore, border guards of the department "Hirsk" of the Chernihiv detachment yesterday morning, near the town of Senkivka, found two Moldovan citizens, also without documents.  

In total, since June 15, during the joint operation, border guards in cooperation with other services of Ukraine and neighboring countries have detained 700 illegal immigrants – the State Border Guard Service reported.
