What Uzhgorod money is spent for

On Tuesday, August 4, at 12.00, in Uzhgorod Press Club, there will be a meeting on "Spending Uzhgorod budget funds for community needs."

 The participants of the press conference:

– Oleksandr Peresolyak, the head of the Transcarpathian regional branch of the party "Democratic Alliance", lawyer;

– Victoria Slyusarenko, auditor, legal expert, PhD

– Serhiy Matsko, the head of the transport committee of the Public Council at Uzhgorod City Council.

The speakers will tell about the reasons for failure of annual programs for repair of Uzhgorod roads and the amounts of budget funds spent ineffectively; about the ways to restore the roads of the city. They will discussed whether the 3 million hryvnia for the improvement of the city, the funds under the programs for street lighting in the city were spent effectively. And also about spending on health care and use of natural resources, greening the city and the destruction of cow parsnip along the river Uzh.

On Thursday, a public hearing on the spending of the municipal budget funds will be held in Uzhgorod.
