“Free prices” raised for soldiers 6,000 UAH

On Saturday and Sunday, Teatralna Square was crowded. The Movement to support Transcarpathian soldiers held a charity fair "Free prices." As always, to help our troops. "Now funds are needed for a summer uniform for our guys. So we have to make money somehow" – the coordinator of the Movement Galina Yartseva said.

This time, volunteers put up for sale a considerable collection of books for every taste that Transcarpathians had brought to the office. It is a kind of charity book sharing – some people bring them, others buy. Prices were free – buyers themselves decided how much money they wanted to throw into the donation box. Also, there were many beautiful toys, clothes sent from abroad and goodies made by an Uzhgorod volunteer.

Interestingly, despite the heat, people were actively buying books. Detective stories were the most popular. Some just threw notes into the box, without taking anything.   On Saturday we had a visitor from Ukrainian diaspora in Canada, who was enthusiastically talking about the assistance they had provided to Ukraine, asked about the soldiers, the work of the Movement, what he can do to help. He was pleasantly surprised by a gift – a yellow and blue bracelet made by our volunteers.

As a result, during two days of the fair we made 6,000 UAH.
