In Transcarpathia, a theft at school was solved

Unidentified persons stole from the school building a laptop, a projector and money. Law enforcement officers found the persons involved in the theft at school.
 
The principal of one of the schools in Khust reported about the theft, which had occurred in the school at night. The investigative group and officers of the criminal investigation department arrived at the scene. The law enforcement officers found out that unknown persons had stolen from the school a laptop, a projector and money in amount of over seven thousand hryvnia. The amount of loss is about 20,000 UAH.
 
In the course of search operations, officers of the CID identified persons involved in the crime. They were an 18-year-old local female resident and a 17-year-old local male resident, who had previously been convicted for similar crimes.
 
The girl confessed to the crime, law enforcement officers continue searching for her accomplice.
 
This incident was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations under Art. 185 "Theft" of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of this article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of three to six years. The investigation is ongoing.
