Vasyl Hubal ordered the city authorities to be more active in helping the families of the killed soldiers

The head of the Regional State Administration Vasyl Hubal had a meeting with Uzhgorod Mayor Victor Pogorelov regarding the provision for families of the ATO participants. 

The meeting was attended by the wife of the killed officer Dmytro Georgiev, who was posthumously given the title of honorary citizen of Uzhgorod – Mrs. Marina. The mayor was reminded that that family had been in the housing list for years and that it was necessary to resolve the issue with the provision of housing for the family, that lives in a hostel, as soon as possible – without waiting for assistance from the government. 

Also they discussed the need to find ways to help other families – first of all, those of the killed soldiers.The next week, the mayor should report on the results of the negotiations and meetings on this issue and propose ideas for further work. 

Vasyl Hubal stressed on the need for full assistance to families in solving their problems. At the meeting, they agreed on the payment of financial aid to the families of the killed Uzhgorod residents. Also, the city government was obligged to make the register of families of the ATO participants and keep all matters relating to their social protection under control.
