Transcarpathian officials learned the features of access to public information

On Monday, February 9, in Uzhgorod, there was a seminar for local government and executive power officials of Transcarpathian region "Providing access to public information in government bodies."

The participants talked about features of work with classified information (secret, confidential and service information) and rules of the "three-tier test" application; took part in practical exercises such as simulation of problem situations and inter-relations of the Law of Ukraine "On Access to Public Information" and the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection". The trainers were Daria Slyzkonis (Center for Political Studies and Analysis), Hanna Krasnostup (State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine) and Roman Holovenko (Institute of Mass Information).

Following the seminar, employees received expert recommendations on organization of access to public information in government bodies, developed by civil experts and practical skills of the application of the Law.
