On January 17, in the Transcarpathian Regional Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life, there will be the fifth regional festival "Carols in the old village."
The organizers of this wonderful event are the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration and the Regional Council, the Department of Culture of the RSA, the Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life, and Transcarpathian methodological center.
The holiday program includes a solemn liturgy in the Shelest church of the Archangel Michael of XVIII century, the opening ceremony and performances of caroling groups of the region. Guests and residents of the city will be able to take part in caroling, to talk with the participants and mistresses of old museum houses and to enjoy Christmas Transcarpathian meals and to take pictures with carolers dressed in traditional Transcarpathian costumes.
