The album with a selection of photographs entitled "33 sculptures of Ivan Masnyuk" was presented in Uzhgorod. That’s the number of works included in the catalog, which was published with the financial support of fifty colleagues and pupils of the master.
The idea to gather works of Ivan Masnyuk and arrange them in an album belongs to an art historian Mykhailo Syrokhman.
Thus, he believes, Transcarpathian artists respond to the Russian aggression.
As he also noted, the sculptor have long deserved such a selection, but they had never had enough money for that. Therefore, the so-called "crowd funding" helped.
Ivan Masnyuk says that the creation of the album with his oeuvre was a pleasant surprise. The album, he says, is valuable because many sculptures featured in the catalog have been destroyed and can be seen only in photos.
