Volodymyr Chubirko called Uzhgorod deputies to resign

This was stated by the Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Council at the meeting with Uzhgorod activists who had appealed to the regional government regarding the crisis in Uzhgorod. 

"My opinion is the same: Uzhgorod city council joint-stock company should be dissolved. Period! I do not see any other way out of the crisis. I told that a month ago, and now I have the same vision of the solution. I called the deputies to resign and leave the city council. Some did it, others want to keep their posts. Uzhgorod deputies have been selling property, land, and now they have started selling power. The post of the mayor of the regional center with 1200 years of history is for sale. There is no other name for that.

I repeat: the only legitimate way is to make deputies resign so that they stop these atrocities. If 31 deputies do it, there will be grounds for dissolution of the city council.  In turn, the regional authorities will do everything possible for the development of the city" – Volodymyr Chubirko said during the meeting with activists.
