Specialists of the rescue service were engaged to eliminate the consequences of the tragedy

The details of the night tragedy in Uzhgorod district are being established by the regional office of the State Emergencies Service.

On the night of November 8th, the rescue service of Transcarpathian region was reported about a traffic accident on the road of local importance Chop-Mukachevo. As previously reported, the accident occurred around 2:50 am, near the village of Demychi in Uzhgorod district.
It was found out that the driver of a "Fiat Doblo" lost control and slid into a reclamation channel. As a result of the accident, two people (the driver – born in 1986 and a passenger – born in 1978) suffered injuries of varying severity. The victims were taken to the central hospital of Uzhgorod. 
Unfortunately, the bodies of another two passengers had to be extracted by divers of the Search-and-rescue special unit. 
The Search-and-rescue special unit of the State Emergencies Service Office in Transcarpathian region was engaged to remove the car from the reclamation channel.
The competent services are ascertaining the detailed circumstances of the accident.
