Valeriy Lunchenko, who was dismissed from the office of the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration by the President of Ukraine on September 15 of this year, may be also deprived of the deputy’s mandate.
Recall that Valeriy Lunchenko for more than seven months was working both as the "Governor" and the MP.
On April 10, he filed in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine a statement for resignation of the deputy’s mandate. As of September 26, in the Committee on Regulations, Ethics and Support of the Operation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, there is no information about the withdrawal of this statement by Valeriy Lunchenko – this was informed to uzhgorod.in by the secretariat of the Committee. To date, members of Parliament have the right to consider the statement for resignation of parliamentary powers and adopt appropriate decision.
