Uzhgorod policement are going to the East in full protection (PHOTOS)

Three "5 +" class bulletproof vests were donated to Uzhgorod City Office on the Miniatry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian Region by the deputy of the Regional Council Volodymyr Chubirko. As it became known, soon Uzhgorod City Council will also provide social assistance to law enforcement agencies for the purchase of personal protective equipment.

According to the chief of Uzhgorod police Yevhen Kalytych, over the past months, 38 Uzhgorod police officers have been sent to the ATO zone. Soon, another 8 officers will be sent. Therefore, such assistance is very important. "Bulletproof vests donated by Volodymyr Chubirko are of the most modern design and protect from both machine gun bullets and 7.62 calibre bullets from SVD sniper rifle. Today we can say that Uzhgorod policemen are fully equipped before being sent to the ATO zone, and we are very grateful to everyone who helps us in this" – Yevhen Kalytych said.

"This is not the first time we provide such help for our law enforcement and military officers and unfortunately not the last time either, – Volodymyr Chubirko said. – Almost every week, we help our defenders in one way or another.Soon, another group of law enforcement officers from Uzhgorod will go to the East Ukraine. I, as an Uzhgorod citizen, can not refuse to help them.We agreed with the management of Uzhgorod police to promptly respond to all their needs."
