President Poroshenko signed the law whereby, for the period of the anti-terrorist operation, any charitable aid provided for the needs of it shall be exempt from taxation on personal income.
This is stated by the press service of the president.
As noted, the law proposed by the President after the meeting with volunteers in August, stipulates that the funds received by philanthropists – physical persons (listed in the Register of volunteers) to bank accounts for charitable assistance for the ATO shall not be included in the total monthly (annual) taxable income of the personal income tax payer.
In addition, temporarily, for the duration of the ATO, the cost of special personal protective equipment, technical surveillance means, drugs without limitation shall be included in other expenses of the company income tax payer.
Also, this includes medical devices, means of personal care, food, clothing allowance items and other goods, works and services provided according to the list, which is determined by the Cabinet of Ministers, that have been voluntarily transferred (provided) for the needs of the ATO.
