Fighting a sewer drain (PHOTOS)

Behind the Transcarpathian Regional Clinical Hospital (from the direction of Svoboda Avenue), drivers (who drive either to the hospital or home) have long been bothered by an open sewer drain.

Many times, wheels of cars have been trapped in it. Drivers complain that the drain must be evened with the ground, because it is poorly visible both for drivers and pedestrians, not only at night but also during the day.

Those, whose wheels have repeatedly been "victims" of the drain, have tried to do something by themselves. They would put big stones in the drain so that the hole could be seen. But it leads to a new problem – residents complain it can be clogged with debris.

By the way, from the direction of Kapushanska Street (near the main entrance to the hospital), for more than a year, there has been another open drain. If they cannot clean the drains and equip them with special grates, at least they should cover them, so there was no risk of people getting injured.
