Vysocina region will support creative children of Transcarpathia

To further the development of mutual cooperation between Transcarpathia and Vysocina region in the field of education, enhancement of educational and cultural relations and support of gifted and talented children, in May and September, the regional drawing competition "My native land" will be held in Transcarpathian region.

The aim of the competition is to identify talented and gifted children; support and development of the fine arts, the promotion of children’s creative ideas, bringing them to participate actively in the artistic life of the region, instilling love for their native land, nature, history and culture.

The competition is held among students of schools and after-school educational establishments aged 7 -10 years.

It will be held in two stages – during May and June at the district (city) level, and in August and September and at the regional level. Following the regional competition, the top 10 works will be selected for the regional stage – exhibition to be held in the Transcarpathian Regional Palace of Children and Youth Creativity "Padiyun" in September and October this year.

The organizers of the competition are Vysočina region of the Czech Republic, the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration and Transcarpathian Regional Palace of Children and Youth Creativity "PADIYUN."

The terms of the competition, the organizing committee and jury, evaluation criteria have been approved.

All the participants of the regional stage of the competition will receive prizes from Vysocina region and the charity fund "Viza".
