Uzhgorod residents protected their right to housing

On May 19, residents of the dormitory at Bohomolets st., 20, with the support from Uzhgorod city government, won in the trial of the Supreme Court, which overturned the title of the "Uzhgorodkhlib" to the premises of the dormitory. It was announced by the public figure Oleksandr Volosyansky on his page on the social network.

So, at the present, the certificate of Uzhgorod City Council of title to the premises of the dormitory is valid. Thus, "after residents submit the necessary documents, only 2 steps will remain, 2 decision of the executive committee for each of the 59 families, who live there, to the privatization of their homes and issuing of individual certificates of title to their apartments, where they have lived for more than 20 years and worked for various companies (Uzhgorodkhlib, Helios, "Zakarpattya" publishing house, the municipality) for more than 20 years," – O.Volosyansky says.
