Yesterday, a popular in Ukraine group DZIDZIO performed in the regional center of Transcarpathia (which we announced earlier).
The hall was almost full of fans who knew lamost every song by heart.
According to Mykhailo Khoma, also known as Dzidzio, the band came to Transcarpathia to cheer people up. "We have always supported the people, even before the revolution. Our group was touring Ukraine (and beyond) and would always encourage people not to be ashamed of their native Ukrainian language.
What happened in the country must have happened, it was impossible to go on living like that. I’m very sorry that people died, and now we need to understand that we need to work hard for prosperity and revival of Ukraine. But remember: Europe begins with us – from our porch, yard and home.
In this difficult period for the country, we give concerts because people need to cheer up a little. I am worrying together with the Maidan and we even wanted to postpone the concert, but I think we should start to perform already, we must restore life in Ukraine," – Dzidzio told reporters before the show.
And the guys wished Ukrainians and Transcarpathians in particular to be honest, sincere and kind. "Keep nothing to yourselves, breathe fresh air, never hurt each other, laugh sincerely, look down, you may find 100 hryvnia or even euro."
