A lot of blood was shed in Transcarpathia today. Fortunately, pigs’ blood. In the village of Hecha in Beregovo district, a traditional festival of butchers took place.
The holiday was organized in honor of the difficult and important craft. A skilled butcher can quickly and efficiently kill a pig and disassemble its carcass. In Hecha ultimately fresh meat and fat are used to prepare traditional dishes while the pigs are commemorated with a glass of strong drink.
