Money and expensive hairdressing supplies were recently stolen from a beauty salon in Uzhgorod. Employees of Criminal Investigation together with experts of Uzhgorod city police tracked down the thief.
As it turned out, in the night, a 26-year-old resident of Uzhgorod had entered into the salon. He took from the salon some hairdressing supplies, 350 USD and 1000 UAH. The owners of the salon suffered losses in amount of 10,000 UAH.
Currently, the offender gives testimony to police officers. The stolen items and money were returned to their rightful owners – Diana Dorohiy, Uzhgorod City Police Department reported.
– This incident was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations and a criminal proceeding under Part 3 of Art. 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (theft, coupled with breaking and entering) has been opened, – the chief of Uzhgorod city police Lt. Col. Yevhen Kalytych reported. – Under applicable law, such offense shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term of 3 to 6 years.
