In Transcarpathia, 68,000 fir trees will be cut down for the New Year

The authorities allowed foresters to cut down nearly 68,000 spruce and fir trees for the New Year holidays.

The Governor Oleksandr Ledyda, by his order dated December 10, set limits for the use of forest resources in the procurement of minor forest products and collateral use in forest in 2013.

The greatest amount of New Year’s beauties is allowed to cut down to the state enterprise "Transcarpathian regional forest management of agricultural farms" – 25 thousand. The Volovets forestry will cut 11,000 spruce and fir trees, the Mokre forestry – 10,300 trees.
