Each school will have its own museum

Young researchers from social and natural organization "Ecotone" are actively developing the project of the arrangement of "pets’ corner" in Uzhgorod schools with the prospect of their transformation into the so-called "mini-museums of natural history", the Zelene Zakarpattya reported.

Since, according to one of the initiators of the project Arpad Kron, the understanding of natural phenomena and natural processes comes from early childhood, they had the idea to create in each school a biology museum with exhibits of different animals and plants – the so-called "nature corner." Ecotone members argue that conducting of educational, environmental, biological and geographical lectures or seminars will be much more effective at such facilities.

Along with the development of the project, Ecotone call everyone who is interested to join – they will have the opportunity not only to work on already developed projects, but also to propose and implement their own ideas aimed at protecting the natural environment, the publication says.
