14 EU countries complained about the security policy of Google

Google is again faced with complaints about its security policy in 14 EU countries.

It is reported that Europe is dissatisfied with the way the U.S. Internet giant uses photos and comments of users, analyzes them, and advertises on the basis of it.

On November 11, the California company changed the terms of the service through the new service Shared Endorsements, which can analyze not only the content on the main page, but also perform a deeper content analysis, including photos, comments and other content posted by users.

However, this approach is inconsistent with European law on protection of personal data.

According to the text of the collective action brought against Google in Brussels, the changes "clearly" violate the law and "require attention by the regulator."

Complaints have been filed in both the European Commission and with regulators in Norway, Sweden, the Czech Republic, of Denmark, France, Spain, Italy, Slovenia, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Poland.
