Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, BMW and Opel are the most popular cars imported in Transcarpathia

Since the beginning of the year, more than 3.8 thousand vehicles have been imported into the region. The amount of fees paid by entities and individuals for imported cars: import duty, excise duty, special duty, the utilization fee and VAT, amounted to over 110 million hryvnias. In particular, car importers paid to the treasury of the state more than 2,100,000 UAH of the environmental tax for disposal of vehicles put out of operation.

Overall, during 2013, the most active Transcarpathian entities have imported into the region more than 2300 units of vehicles. In turn, citizens imported into the region 1270 cars, and paid for their import almost 21.5 million hryvnias. The most popular among Transcarpathians this year have been vans, the Chop customs informed.
