Is Transcarpathia facing a budget crisis? (Documents)

As of November 1, general funds of local budgets in Transcarpathian region have been fulfilled only by 95.8%. The shortfall of local budgets is over 39 million hryvnias. The city of Uzhgorod is absolute outsider in the region. Here the shortfall in the budget is 11,337,000 UAH. The city coffers have been filled by only 93.8%. In percentage terms, the worst performance is in Beregovo. Here, the budget has been fulfilled by 77.6%, the city did not receive 6.6 million hryvnias.   In Chop, the treasury has been filled only by 83.6%, the shortfall is 2.5 million hryvnias. In districts of the region, the worst situation with the budget is in Velyky Berezny district – it has been fulfilled by 92.1% (-987,000 UAH), Beregovo district – 94.1% (-844,000 UAH) and Uzhgorod district – 95% (-2,840,000 UAH).

Budgets have been overfulfilled in Khust district (103.3%), Rakhiv district (103.3%), Perechyn district (103.2%), Volovets district (102.5%), Mukachevo district (101.5%) and Mizhhirya district (101.2%).
