IMF Executive Board will consider the situation in the economy of Ukraine in mid-December.
This was announced by the IMF spokesman Jerry Rice, ITAR-TASS reported.
According to the publication, at the meeting, they will discuss the results of the two missions of the IMF – in the second half of October, in Kyiv, there was a mission to review the economic situation in general, and on November 18-19, there was a mission that analyzed the results of previous cooperation programs.
According to Rice, further technical consultations between the body of the Fund and the Ukrainian authorities continue.
"The purpose of them is to have policies sufficiently ambitious to respond to the challenges Ukraine faces," – he explained.
Earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov presented a number of stringent conditions the country should fulfill to obtain a loan from the IMF.
