The Parliament voted for the first European integration law

The Parliament adopted in the second reading the amendments to the electoral law.

365 MPs voted for it.

This bill is one of three European integration laws.

The authors of the bill are Party of Regions members, Oleksandr Yefremov, Volodymyr Oliynyk and Dmytro Shpenov.

The voting was greeted with applause. 

The government bill number 3396, among other things, amends the Criminal Code, the Code of Administrative Justice, laws "On the Central Election Commission", "On parliamentary election", "On political parties", "On the information agencies".

The European integration bill envisages the creation of a foreign constituency, the change of the procedure for the formation of district election commissions, reducing the amount of cash collateral during the registration, limitation of the amount of campaign fund, as well as increased requirements to news agencies regarding the cover of the elections.
