Transcarpathia buy and sell “themselves”… for charity (PHOTOS, STATS)

Transcarpathian active youth have an interesting tradition of charity fundraisers.

 Anyone can place a date with him or her as a "lot" or to be "buyer" of one of them. The charity date auction is held once a year on the day of St. Nicholas. It has been around for 4 years.

The charity event "Buy a date – help a child" is initiated by the "United student organization" for the sake of charity.

"Buy a date with an interesting person. Funds from your "purchase" will go to charity. Currently, we are choosing the childcare facility where kids are waiting for your loving and sincere eyes, good deeds and your attention. Do not miss the opportunity to be generous" – the organizers wrote on their official page in VKontakte.

Terms of the charity are simple: everybody can post their application on the page of the community in the social network, and thus automatically become volunteers and agree to comply with all terms of the auction. That is: they are obliged to go out with the person who purchased this date either as part of the Big Date arranged by the organizers of the event, or agreeing with the buyer of the date in person.

The price starts from minimum starting amount of 10 UAH. Then you can raise the price and buy the chosen lot from the previous buyer, raising the price in increments of 10 UAH.
The final results of the auction will be announced to buyers and lots on the last day of the auction (10th of December). On that day, all bids for lots will be closed, and the auction stops.
All bids of buyers for the purchase of a lot, will be collected by volunteers.
On December 19, the Saint Nicholas Day, the organizers and volunteers will go to the orphanage.
After the campaign, photo and video report will be posted, the amount of money collected from the auction will also be made public.  

 In the social network Facebook, you can also contribute to the charity, but only as a buyer. You can purchase a date with famous people of Transcarpathia.
