Disconnection of high-rise buildings because of debts of individual citizens, high tariffs and a confusing network connectivity, the need for 100% advance payment for yet not used electricity are the most problematic issues that cause conflicts between consumers and suppliers of electricity and gas. So say members of the Public Council – participants of the roundtable on the issue of connection to the grid, which was held yesterday, November 15, at the RSA, the press center reported.
– This issue is important because the difficulties in connection to the grid hinder the improvement of living conditions of citizens and the development of small and medium enterprises, which, according to statistics, account for about 94.6% of the total number of business entities – the Chairman of the Public Council Fedir Kharuta said.
Financial expenses, organizational and technical efforts of electricity and gas consumers are the main factors of these difficulties and create conflicts between consumers and provider organizations, the chairman of the Council believes.
Therefore, the roundtable participants developed a preliminary text of the resolution with suggestions on how to solve these problems. This document will be finalized next week, and then it will be sent to the Presidential Administration, the Cabinet of Ministers, the Parliament and community councils in other regions of the country.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Igor Svyshcho, the First Deputy General Director of "Zakarpattyaoblenergo" JSC Artem Martynyuk and the CEO of "Zakarpathaz" PJSC Victor Shatylo.
