Ukraine ranked 27th in the world by the number of dollar billionaires (Infographic)

By the number of dollar billionaires, Ukraine ranked 27th in the world ranking between Egypt and Chile.

These are the results of the "Census of billionaires in 2013," according to the "Capital" citing the international research company Wealth-X and Swiss financial conglomerate UBS.

According to the report, at the moment the world’s billionaires club consists of 2170 people from 78 countries.

Over the past four years, the number of "club members" has increased by 60% and the total amount of their net assets has more than doubled (to $ 6.5 trillion in 2013).

Thus, the assets of the billionaires club now exceeds the GDP of any country in the world except China and the United States.

Experts predict that by 2020, the number of dollar billionaires will have nearly twice increased and will have been about 3900 people.

A quarter (24%) of all the world’s billionaires are residents of the United States, having a third (32%) of all assets of the "club."

More than a hundred billionaires also reside in China (157), Germany (148), UK (135), Russia (108), and India (103).

As for business capitals of the world, most of the successful people live in New York (96), Hong Kong (75), and Moscow (74).

The world’s billionaires club also includes 18 Ukrainians, the amount of their assets is $ 49 billion.

This is the first study of its kind, the goal of which was an in-depth analysis of the wealth of the richest people of the world.
