This was one of the topics of conversation of Vasyl Ivancho, the head of the office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region in the social talk show "Top news" of the Transcarpathian Regional State TV and Radio Company "Tisa-1". Vasyl Ivancho talked to Volodymyr Krivoshapko, Irina Breza, Natalia Petervari, Larysa Podolak and the talk show host – Oleksandr Meryavchyk.
Journalists asked questions about the Strategic Development Plan of the Ministry of income and taxes, Ukraine’s ranking in Doing Business, changes to small businesses in 2014, "lie detector", electronic reporting and other issues.
– The Strategic Course is eight areas of development and five years for implementation. Ensuring freedom of establishment, preservation of delicate balance between creating tax and customs services system convinient for business and citizens and stable filling of the budget – this is not anything new. We are now in a new, larger scale: we combine our individual gains of tax and customs services and work towards greater shifts for the benefit of citizens, the state and business, – the head of the income and taxes authority in the region said.
– Powerful tools for analysis and prediction, which are ready to provide any analytical support to overcome the risks of non-payment, the introduction of new technologies in the tax policy designed to support the public and businesses, switching to electronic reporting, so you can save resources and time – these progressive innovations helped to raise Ukraine in Doing Business ranking by 25 positions, and correctly shape further development prospects," – the Head of the office of the Ministry of Income in the region commented on the World Bank appreciation of the progress in reducing the time spent on tax laws compliance and improvement of customs administration in Ukraine.
Also, the journalists were concerned about the future signing of European integration, which in turn leads to changes, particularly in the customs legislation.
– Ukraine has long been preparing for this event, the reforms are ongoing. They are important not only in terms of the Association, but they are actually important for Ukraine. In the customs area, we will have three years to adapt to the EU Customs Code. The adaptation process has already begun – even before the signing of the Agreement. I advise business also to prepare for work in the European market. He who will begin doing that sooner, will have more competitive advantages, – Vasyl Ivancho said.
