Fitch expects depreciation of the hryvnia to 8.5 per dollar and decrease of international reserves of the NBU to $ 12.9 billion in 2014.
This is stated in the agency’s forecast, the "Ukrainian News" reported.
Thus, Fitch expects depreciation of the hryvnia to 8.5 per dollar by the end of 2014.
At the same time, inflation is projected at 1.5% in 2013, and at 5% in 2014.
Also, they expect decrease of international reserves of the NBU from 17.8 billion dollars (projected level by the end of 2013) to 12.9 billion dollars by the end of 2014.
According to Fitch, current account balance of Ukraine in 2013 will be negative at 7.3% of GDP, and in 2014 it will also be negative – at 6.2% of GDP.
The total debt of Ukraine, according to the agency, by the end of 2013 will have amounted to 35.7% of GDP, by the end of 2014 – 41.6% of GDP.
