The film about Transcarpathian strongman Ivan Firtsak, that was put into production on August 21 last year, was released nationwide on October 3. The filming lasted for three and a half months.
During this time, the crew visited Chernivtsi, Kamyanets-Podilsk and Irshava district (in the village of Bilky, where Ivan Firtsak was born and died).
The film is based on a true story, the prototype of the protagonist is the Ukrainian circus strongman Ivan Firtsak, who in 1928 was acknowledged as the strongest man in the world.
In Transcarpathia, there will be the meeting with the director Viktor Andriyenko and wrestler and actor Vasyl Virastiuk. The screening and the discussion of the film will be held on Monday, October 7, at 14.00 in Mukachevo cinema "Peremoha". And at 18.00 the screening of the movie and the meeting with the cast and crew will be held in the regional center in the cinema "Domion."
Currently, the film can be seen in Uzhgorod in the "Domion" at 15.20 and 18.40 during the next three weeks.
