Fifty paintings by Pavlo Bedzir will be exhibited in Uzhgorod (PHOTOS)

On September 3, a great artistic event is scheduled to be held at the "Ilko Gallery". In the early autumn, the exhibition of the known Transcarpathian artist Pavlo Bedzir will be opened there.

He was born in the family of the priest in the village of Kalyny in Tyachiv district. He began to draw when he was 7 years old.

The artist died July 10, 2002 in the city of Uzhgorod, but colleagues and students still remember him.

As for the exhibition, the organizers (including M. Ilko and T.Tabaka) promise that it will include fifty works and may be the most significant event in the study and presentation of Pavlo Bedzir’s works over the past two decades.

His works will be provided by private collectors and exhibited on the second floor modern gallery.
