As the acting prosecutor of Uzhgorod Serhiy Vovkanych reported, the City Prosecutor’s Office submitted to the Department of Education of Uzhgorod City Council the request for verification of the information published by regional media, about some schools refusing to enroll Roma children. The results of the check must be reported within the period set by the law, the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office reported.
If any violations are found, the prosecutor will take measures and request to remedy them and bring the perpetrators to justice.
