100 Transcarpathians already travel to Poland without a visa. There can be more

Transcarpathians started to actively receive permits for local border traffic in Poland. While in the region there is no crossing point to this country, under the Protocol between the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on Local border traffic rules, residents of 67 settlements of Transcarpathia have the right to receive such permits.According to the Consul General of Poland in Lviv Jaroslaw Drozd, about 100 Transcarpathians have already used this right, and their number is constantly growing.

To obtain the permit from the consulate in Lviv, one must submit a form, one color photo 3,5 x 4,5 cm, original and photocopy of the travel passport (the first page), original and photocopy of Ukrainian passport (pages 1, 2, 11). The first permit is issued for two years, any subsequent one – for five. The fee for the permit is 20 euros, and the disabled, pensioners and children under 18 receive it for free.

Residents of the following settlements in Transcarpathia have the right to receive permit: Behendyanska Pastil, Bilasovytsya, Bukivtsovo, Velyky Berezny, Verbyazh, Verkhnya Hrabivnytsya, Verkhovyna-Bystra, Vyshka, Vilshynky, Volosyanka, Husny, Domashyn, Dubrynichi, Zhdeniyevo, Zhornava, Zabrid, Zavadka, Zavysona, Zahorb, Zadilske, Zarichovo, Zbyny, Kicherny, Knyahynya, Kosteleva Pastil, Kostryno, Kostrynska Rostoka, Kotelnytsya, Latirka, Lypovets, Likitsary, Lubni, Luh, Lumshory, Lyuta, Maly Berezny, Mayurky, Myrcha, Mokra, Nyzhni Vorota, Novoselytsya Pastilky, Pashkivtsi, Perekhresny, Pidpolozzya, Polyanska Huta, Poroshkovo, Rodnykivka, Rodnikovska Huta, Rostoka, Roztotska Pastil, Rusky Mochar, Sil, Simerky, Smerekovo, Stavne, Strychava, Stuzhytsya, Sukhy, Tykhy, Tyshiv, Turychky, Turya Polyana, Uzhok, Chornoholova, Scherbovets, Yalove.
