On Tuesday, August 6, the acting head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Igor Svyshcho answered the "hot" telephone line "Ask the government." Nearly two dozen Transcarpathians decided to ask their questions to the head of the region.
Most calls were from Tyachiv district. A pensioner from Ruske Pole called with a request to help to return his subsidy for gas. According to the man, the benefit was canceled without warning and now he must pay quite a substantial amount for the natural gas consumed.
Two families from Vonihovo asked to assist in the allocation of land to their sons for development. Both men are disabled (one participated in the liquidation of the Chernobyl accident and the other fought in Afghanistan) and each of them needs a place for housing.
A resident of the village of Horinchevo in Khust district addressed with a request to help resolve a land dispute with her neighbors. The issue needs immediate solution, but so far she is unable to get justice on her own. She was considering going to court, but the proceedings could take several years. Therefore, she asked for assistance from the regional government.
Igor Svyshcho took these and other issues under his personal control and promised to answer to everyone in the near future.
