Uzhgorod City Hall hid to whom and which land will be allocated at the session

If you want to know to whom and which land Uzhgorod deputies are going to allocate on Friday, August 2, then you will have a problem with this – the municipality hid this information from the citizens. 

14 draft decisions are devoted to land issues. And the information about it is partially hidden. So what does the City Hall conceal from Uzhgorod residents?

In fact, the most important thing – to whom and which land will be allocated. Yes, at the request of the Uzhgorod prosecutor’s office they published land draft decisions on the website. However, there is a big "but". For example, the draft number 981 – "On privatization of non-agricultural land through foreclosure" .

As we can see, the draft decision does not specify to whom and what plot is sold for 113,000 UAH.

 By the draft decisions number 986 and number 987 more than 70 citizens or businesses are granted permission to develop land management projects so that later they could receive the ownership or lease of the specific land.  

The vast majority of names and locations of land plots on the website are hidden. And this is despite the fact that Part 5 of Article 6 of the Law of Ukraine "On access to public information" clearly states: "The access to the information on use of public funds, ownership, use or disposal of state and municipal property, including copies of relevant documents, terms of receiving of such funds or property, names of individuals and entities, who have received the funds or property, may not be limited." Simply put, the City Council has no right to hide names of people or businesses that the land is allocated to. Will the law enforcement authorities response to the violation of the law?
