Public figures are offered to present their activities to Ukraine

NGOs, initiative groups and individual activists are invited to participate in the nationwide contest of video works titled "Visualize your actions", which aims to highlight the best achievements of civil society in Ukraine.The competition was initiated by the group of active young people who believe in the power and potential of civil society in Ukraine.The organizers believe that "one of the main reasons for pessimism and apathy in our society is the unawareness of the majority of Ukrainians of their own power and capabilities to solve social problems and lack of awareness of those who are already working in this area. Unfortunately, these activities are often left unnoticed by the society and the media."In the long run, all submitted projects will become a part of a kind of online channel – the site, where the best practices of social problems solving will be collected together.Video clips will be accepted until August 31, 2013. The winner will be determined by voting on the project web-site.More information about the competition can be found here: http://visual-action.com/index.php/umovy
