Four Transcarpathians want to take tests in Spanish for the EIT

According to the regional centers of Educational Quality Assessment, 322,133 applicants have been registered to participate in the main session of external independent testing (EIT). The Press Service of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment reports that most of the registered persons – 238,122 – are graduates of secondary schools of this school year.According to the information provided by the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, 7,462 Transcarpathians have been registered for the EIT.
The majority of students in Ukraine wishes to be tested in the Ukrainian language and literature, mathematics and history of Ukraine. Transcarpathia against this background looks like this: most applicants (7,326) expressed the desire to take tests in Ukrainian language and literature, history of Ukraine – 4,696, followed by mathematics – 3,526, biology – 3,155 and geography – 2,350. Outsiders are: World Literature (193), Russian (102) and French (61) languages. There are also four students who volunteered to take tests in Spanish.
External independent testing of student achievements this year will take place from 3 to 27 of June. Students will have tests in 11 subjects, and the results will be announced no later than July 7.
