Transcarpathia: a child asked the police not to return her home

Recently, a 42-year-old woman reported to Khust city police department that the day before her daughter had left home and never returned. 

Police officers soon found a 17-year-old girl at the bus station in Khust. But the child was not immediately returned to parents – the schoolgirl started complaining about family problems and ill-treatment. 

In order to understand the situation and to give help, the minor was placed in one of the shelters of Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.

Currently, the case is being investigated by employees of Juvenile Services.
