According to the spokesperson of the Traffic Police Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Zhytomyr region Mykola Yatskevich, the accident occurred in Novgorod-Volyn district, on the 228th kilometer of the highway "Kyiv-Chop".
A 44-year-old resident of Transcarpathian region hit two pedestrians who were crossing the road. They died from the injuries at the scene of the accident. Now the police are checking the circumstances of the accident.
