The City Urban Development Council resolved that Narodna square should not be reconstructed

The session of the Uzhgorod City Urban Development Council has finished. As we have reported, Volodymyr Pavley presented his project of reconstruction of Narodna Square.

In the end, all members of the Council either strongly opposed or abstained from approving the project. They say that now is not the time for such matters.

Recall that  Uzhgorod chief architect Oleksandr Sheba said that he would sign the reconstructtion project only if it is approved by the urban development council.

So, after today’s meeting, apparently, the issue of reconstruction will be permanently closed.
