70 items of weapon were seized in two forestries

During the inventory of weapons, which is registered at the state enterprises "Svalyava forestry" and "Volovets forestry", officers of public order sector permit system of Svalyava District Police Department discovered and seized 70 units of smoothbore hunting weapon that were in poor condition for further examination and destruction.

– This operation was held primarily to counter illicit proliferation of weapons and ammunition, prevention of crimes with the use thereof, as well as preventing losses and shortages of weapons in forestry – Chief of the public order sector of Svalyava District Police Department, Police Major Yuri Rotan said.
