300 tons of dangerous chemicals were removed from Transcarpathia

During 2011-2012, about 300 tons of dangerous chemicals were removed from Transcarpathian region.

This was announced today, January 30, during a press conference with journalists by the head of the State Ecological Inspectorate in Transcarpathian region Serhiy Rishko.

According to him, from July to November 2011, 177 tons of hazardous chemical products were removed from the region for disposal. And last year, another 109 tons of unusable pesticides were taken from the region.
