Two thefts were committed today, January 28, in Uzhgorod by thieves from Khust. First, an UzhNU student reported to the police officers that in a bus an unknown person had stolen from her handbag a wallet with money in the amount of 260 UAH, a bank card and a student card. The amount of loss is 260 UAH. As a result of the measures taken by the police it was found out that the theft had been committed by a 35-year-old female resident of Khust.
Around the same time, and also in the bus, a purse was stolen from a 53-year-old female resident of the Korytnyany village. The amount of loss is 80 UAH. Another female resident of Khust – born in 1959 – is suspected in this crime. In both cases, the evidence was seized.
