The festival of Nativity plays of Mukachevo district was held yesterday, January 11, in the village of Makaryovo. About ten groups from Zavydovo, Barbova, Kushtanovytsi, Kuchava were caroling as it is customary in their villages. The girls from Verkhniy Koropets sang German carols, devils from Pistryalovo rampaged on the stage, shepherds and wisemen fought with Herod, angels were singing… Both young carolers and older performes participated in the festival.
The winners of the festival were the carolers from Makaryovo. No one was left without treats – all participants received thanks and prizes from the Department of Culture of Mukachevo District State Administration.
