The government allowed the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve to develop documents on land allocation

Carpathian Biosphere Reserve is allowed to develop documents for allotment of land, reported the web site of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The Cabinet of Ministers adopted the corresponding decree № 2-p "On granting the permission to develop land management project on land allocation," on January 3, 2013. The document stipulates that under Articles 92, 123 and 149 of the Land Code of Ukraine, the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve shall be authorized to develop land management project on allotment of land with total area of ​​7371.8 hectares subject to the requirements of state standards, rules and regulations in the field of land management. This land for forestry purposes (forests), which are in constant use of SEs "Rakhiv Forestry Research Farm," "Velyky Berezny Forestry and Hunting Farm" and "Yasinya Forestry and Hunting Farm", are located outside settlements in Rakhiv district, Transcarpathian region. It is provided that in the future the land will be granted to the reserve for preservation and use of CBR land.
