In Transcarpathia a storm warning has been announced

According to the Transcarpathian Center for Hydrometeorology in the afternoon on the 15th, and during the day on the 16th of December, 2012 in the Transcarpathian region there will be snow and sleet turning to rain, sometimes very heavy precipitation. Also occasionally: ice, snow, sleet, blizzards, snow drifts. 
On the roads there will be sleet. Southwest wind will strengthen up to 15-20 m / s, in the highlands up to 30-35 m / s.
 In the afternoon of the December 15 and during December 16-17 at the region’s rivers the raise of water levels is expected:
– In the lower and middle reaches of the tributaries and on the Tisa river, between Dilove and Vylok – 0.3-1.0 m;
– In the lower reaches of the Latorica and Stara rivers – 0.5-1.5 m;
– In the lower reaches of the Borzhava river – 1.5-2.5 m
 In view of deteriorating weather conditions Territorial Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies in Transcarpathian region encourages all residents and visitors of Transcarpathia during severe weather conditions to refrain from going to the mountains and comply with security measures.
 The Ministry of Emergencies in the region insist on mandatory registration of all who will rise to the Carpathians. When registering at mountain rescue centers you can receive the latest information on the status of the weather conditions in a particular area, to determine the optimal route, which depends on the degree of participants’ skills – reported TD of MOE in Transcarpathian region.
