Yesterday, a Nigerian citizen complained to law enforcement officers that on August 1 Deputy Head of the State Migration Service in Transcarpathian region demanded and received from him a $ 200 bribe for issuing a new certificate for a stay on the territory of Ukraine.
Meanwhile police officers found out that the official gave part of the bribe to the head of the Refugee Office.
At present Uzhgorod interdistrict court ordered a preventive measure concerning Deputy Head of Migration Service in the form of a pledge in the amount of 17,000 UAH.
