Online purchases will not be cheap anymore

Tax officers want to introduce in the Internet-stores compulsory cash registers and make couriers to issue checks to the client on the spot. Therefore they want to increase the responsibility of stores and force them to sell a legal product. Sellers at the same time believe that after innovation cheapness will disappear.

‘Courier service is often more than a dozen stores at the same time, they will have to carry on a large number of cash registers’, – said Slatin. Add here the cost of the cash registers – and the product will automatically rise by 10-15%, predicts businessman.

However, the tax has its own arithmetic. ‘If ten units of product to sell – it will turn into 1-2 kopiika for the good’, – said the head of STS cash payments Pavlo Sydorov.

The cheapest cash register costs one and a half thousand hryvnia and it serves for 7 years. But it is claimed in the tax that not everyone will have to buy them – the standard refers only to legal entities and it will not affect small business owners.

Part of stores could turn into a small group of private traders to avoid buying of equipment. Or online stores will turn into sites with prices, allegedly for exploring assortment.

It is really difficult to control internet users, admit in the tax. However we promise that we will find leverage on the too cunning ones. If for the first violation the owner will have to pay hryvnia, then for the second one he will pay the full value of the goods. And each subsequent penalty will be in 5 times more expensive than the product.
